The recently refurbished Monte Tauro Hotel is an exceptionally comfortable hotel in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the main pedestrianised shopping area in Taormina. The hotel itself is built into a cliff and has a panoramic glass lift to large freshwater swimming pool which boasts amazing views of the Naxos Bay and Mount Etna. The surroundings of Monte Tauro Hotel are stylish and modern, perfect for an enjoyable holiday! Due to a number of steps leading to the hotel, we do not recommend it for people with walking difficulties.
LOCATION
Monte Tauro Hotel is located in a quiet and panoramic setting, close to the town centre and a Greek Roman theatre which overlooks the sea. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Corso Umberto, Taormina’s main shopping street. The Lido Tropicana, a private beach that can be used by hotel guests, is located about 10 minutes away, and is serviced by regular bus.

85 twin/double rooms suitable for 2 persons. All with private shower or bath, direct dial telephone, hair-dryer, SAT TV, safe and autonomous air-conditioning from June to September. All rooms have full sea view and balcony. Junior suites available with prices on request, can accommodate a maximum of 3 persons (3rd person sofa bed).
