Sicily

Geographically located between Europe and Africa, this sun drenched Mediterranean island is a unique place full of art, archaeology, history, folklore, breathtaking scenery and, of course, great food! The world’s first multicultural society, Sicily is Italy’s and Europe’s most historically cosmopolitan region, having been ruled by Asians, Africans and Europeans.

Sicily is home to heavenly beaches, amazing mountains and Europe’s largest volcano, Mount Etna. Each scenic region offers something different. In north eastern Nebrodi Mountains you’ll find unexpectedly lush forests whilst the central regions consist of rugged land and rolling hills with vineyards, ancient olive groves, almond orchards and endless wheat fields. A world unto itself, Sicily in all its complexities, is a land like no other – an island of striking natural beauty and dramatic scenery boasting in rich history and culture.
