Coral Bay
The small village of Coral Bay is located 12 kilometres north of Paphos. There are two stretches of white sandy beach separated by a headland, which are considered among the best in west Cyprus and have also been awarded with a Blue Flag. The area is surrounded by the most unusual countryside, from craggy coastline to the beautiful slopes of the Troodos Mountains, making it a perfect setting for a family holiday.
FOR CHILDREN
Children will love the shallow waters of Coral Bay beaches. There is a Karting Centre in town and the nearby Aphrodite Water Park in Paphos.
EATING AND DRINKING
Take a short stroll into town and you will find lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants with traditional Cypriot cuisine on the menu.
NIGHTLIFE
The nightlife in Coral Bay is a mix of family entertainment, with a handful of cocktail bars and several fun music bars. However, for those seeking more entertainment options, Paphos with its bars and restaurants can be easily reached by taxi.
SHOPPING
In Coral Bay you will find several supermarkets, souvenir shops with plenty of leather goods, ceramics and other convenience stores. And of course, you always could go to the nearby resort of Paphos for wider choice.
ACTIVITIES
In addition to water sports activities, the area also has a lot to offer from a historical perspective: the Tomb of the Kings, Aphrodite’s sanctuary, the fortress and much more. The archaeological legacy of Paphos is such that UNESCO put the whole city on its World Cultural Heritage List.
