Pula

An attractive town with Roman origins located on the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula, Pula has long drawn tourists to its shores with local traditions of winemaking, fishing and shipbuilding. . Engross yourself in its culture & history by visiting its many ancient Roman buildings such as the Arena, a magnificent Roman amphitheatre. Stroll down the narrow streets of the Old quarter or have some fun in the biggest aquarium in Croatia which provides a panorama view of Pula from its roof.

About a kilometre south of Pula is the start of the Verudela Peninsula which boasts a mixture of rocky, pebbly and shingle beaches angling sharply into the blue waters of the Adriatic sea and surrounded by a sweet smelling pine wood
