Orebic
It is a quaint village and harbour enjoying a sub tropical climate in which palm trees, olive groves, peach and orange trees grow. It has magnificent sea views, including a lovely view of Korcula which is only 1.5 km away.
Orebic developed as a shipping centre and was named after a family of distinguished seafarers. The town has many tall elegant former merchant houses and gardens with ornate courtyards leading down to the shore. There are regular excursions to the nearby island of Korcula (the birth place of Marco Polo). An ideal two-centre holiday with Dubrovnik.
